While in Guangzhou...

Phew, it's been quite a while since I've posted anything here. I've been around, and now quite often in Guangzhou, China. It's a nice place here, once you take out the bad traffic, typically rude train/bus boarding attitude, fast paced lifestyle and littered streets (there's always someone sweeping up the streets though, so as much as people litter it's still manageable).

A boat-top view of the Pearl River in Guangzhou, China

The infamous Canton Tower, better know as svelte waist locally (小蛮腰)

A shot of the HK coast

An outing with my dear at a local western style restaurant. The steak is really pretty good ;)

上下九步行街

上下九步行街 (won quite a few awards for being counterfeit free and best tourist location amongst others)

Sacred Heart Cathedral, one of the oldest cathedral built in China

Hhmmm.... a totem pole in the middle of the city....

View atop BaiYun Mountain. It's more like a large hill actually, but.... whatever.

5-star Hilton Hotel, where I go on for Sunday service. A christian fellowship only for non-China nationals.

Cheers, Edward "Be the best that you can be"
